NYC X3

December 1, 2018 by dspolo

I made three trips to NYC this week including the one that just ended.  Photography was the subject of the last two trips and I spent most of my day taking photos at NYC’s Waste Water Treatment plants , and at some time I will post those photos.   But on the first trip and when I got a chance on the last two, I took other photos on the streets.   I once saw a video of Joel Meyerowitz taking photos in NYC and he said that you can be invisible taking photos on the streets of NYC — and I thought how can you be invisible if you are a 6 foot tall man dressed in black.  But the truth is that everyone is so busy going about their business and there are so many people, the opportunities are overwhemling.   So here is a taste of NYC.
